AsiaGreen is a progressive company, pioneered a new waste management system for the country's main export commodity, palm oil.

With this system in place, new industries will sprout up, providing new jobs, businesses, export earnings and research opportunities.

In September 2001, Bertam Holdings Ltd PLC, a company listed in the London Stock Exchange, acquired 40% equity of AsiaGreen, giving the homegrown company an access to the U.K. market and henceforth, the European Community. Thus, the outlook of the company is not only local but global as well.

All dealings in AsiaGreen are transparent and within the boundary of proper corporate governance. The culture is 'family-oriented', with emphasis on teamwork and sharing as one family while encouraging its staff to put proper priority in their own families both in time and responsibility.

The company runs the largest composting plant in Malaysia; producing compost/organic fertiliser made from palm oil mill waste/by-product. Presently it is capable of producing 2,000 metric tons per month and there are plans to increase production three-fold within the next one year.

The company's main policy is to give the customer value for their money and thus the products are priced below our competitor's. Combining our strengths of being the largest producer and offering the lowest price; our products are poised to take the market by storm.

Since 1998, AsiaGreen has been selling mainly to selected customers but now with an increase in production, we are targeting a wider market which will include wholesale, retail and export to Singapore. To achieve our goals we are creating two new departments: Marketing and Sales.

The marketing team will initiate strategies and plans to achieve market awareness and penetration with the sales team following up with securing new customers.
